Voice Memo to Action

You think out loud. Half of it disappears before you reach a keyboard.

Voice Memo to Action is an OpenClaw skill that converts a raw voice memo transcript into a structured, actionable digest. Unlike generic summarizers, it separates tasks from decisions from open questions — so nothing gets silently re-litigated or dropped.

What it does

• Detects action phrases across a rambly, non-linear transcript and extracts each as a discrete task with an assigned owner and due-date hint
• Identifies decision statements so the choices you made while walking don't get re-opened in the next meeting
• Surfaces open questions that still need resolution — the ones that live as ambiguity in your head until they cause a problem
• Clusters transcript sentences into 3–5 topic buckets so a 12-minute brain dump becomes a structured digest, not a flat list
• Renders the output as a Slack-ready mrkdwn block or a plain-text email summary you can send in 60 seconds

What's in the package

All files listed below are bundled as fenced code blocks inside SKILL.md — there's no separate folder to install. Copy each code block into its own file using the path shown above it.

• SKILL.md — the full workflow your agent follows, including how it runs the scripts and handles edge cases.
• scripts/extract_actions.py — parses a .txt transcript and emits structured JSON: tasks with owners and due hints, decisions, open questions, and topic clusters. stdlib only.
• scripts/format_digest.py — renders the JSON as Slack mrkdwn (--format slack) or plain-text email (--format email). stdlib only.
• scripts/examples/ — sample transcript, expected JSON output, and both formatted versions so you can verify everything works on install.

How it ships

Drop SKILL.md into ~/.openclaw/skills/voice-memo-to-action/. Restart OpenClaw. Run /voice-memo-to-action or paste a transcript and say "extract my actions" — your agent picks it up.

Pairs well with Reagan (executive assistant persona) for daily capture and inbox integration.
