Podcast Guest Prep

You show up to guest interviews having Googled for 90 minutes and still asking the same questions every other show already asked.

Podcast Guest Prep is an OpenClaw skill that turns a guest name and 1–2 public URLs into a complete pre-interview package: a structured research dossier, three distinct episode angles, twelve ranked questions (soft-open through spicy), and a draft show-notes outline. The whole pipeline runs before the recording and gives you something better than most professional producers bring to the table.

What it does

• Fetches and parses public guest links to extract bio, core themes, recent work, and prior interview questions to avoid
• Generates three distinct episode angles — not variations of the same frame, but genuinely different lenses
• Produces 12 ranked questions per angle (4 each), tagged soft-open, mid, or spicy
• Drafts a show-notes outline with a suggested title and episode description

What's in the package

All files listed below are bundled as fenced code blocks inside SKILL.md — there's no separate folder to install. Copy each code block into its own file using the path shown above it.

• scripts/build_questions.py — generates angles and ranked questions from the dossier.

How it ships

Drop SKILL.md into ~/.openclaw/skills/podcast-guest-prep/. Restart OpenClaw. Run /podcast-guest-prep or say 'prep me for my interview with [Name].'
