OKR Quarterly Planner
SkillSkill
Draft, calibrate, and weekly-check OKRs for teams of 1-15 — with ambition checks, leading-indicator KRs, and a stoplight check-in cadence.
About
You keep writing task lists and calling them OKRs.
OKR Quarterly Planner is an OpenClaw skill that takes a quarterly theme and team context, drafts a 3×3 OKR set, scores every Key Result for quality, and generates a weekly stoplight check-in template. Unlike generic goal-setting prompts, it enforces a specific discipline: leading vs. lagging KRs, committed vs. aspirational modes, and a 12-pattern anti-pattern library that flags sandbagging, task-as-KR, and vanity metrics before they ship.
What it does
- Drafts 3 Objectives × 3 Key Results each from a one-sentence quarterly theme
- Classifies each KR as leading/lagging and committed/aspirational automatically
- Calibrates any existing OKR set with a measurability score and anti-pattern flags
- Generates a weekly Red/Yellow/Green check-in template with trend arrows when run week-over-week
What's in the package
All files listed below are bundled as fenced code blocks inside SKILL.md — there's no separate folder to install. Copy each code block into its own file using the path shown above it.
- SKILL.md — the full three-mode workflow (Draft / Calibrate / Check-in) your agent follows.
- scripts/draft_okrs.py — takes a quarterly theme + context and outputs a 3×3 OKR scaffold as markdown.
- scripts/calibrate.py — scores each KR for leading/lagging, committed/aspirational, measurability, and anti-pattern flags.
- scripts/weekly_checkin.py — generates a stoplight check-in template, optionally reading prior check-ins for trend arrows.
- scripts/examples/ — sample draft, calibration report, and check-in output so you can verify everything works on install.
- data/okr-anti-patterns.md — 12 named anti-patterns with detection signals and rewrite hints, used by both the agent and the calibrate script.
How it ships
Drop SKILL.md into ~/.openclaw/skills/okr-quarterly-planner/. Restart OpenClaw. Run /okr-quarterly-planner or describe what you need — "Help me draft Q3 OKRs" or "Calibrate these KRs" — and your agent picks it up.
Pairs well with Cyrus (Side Hustle Strategist) for solo founders running their own quarterly planning.
