Hive Doctrine Foundation

The Hive Doctrine Foundation is a set of templates and protocols that define how agents are structured, how they coordinate, and how they manage memory, extracted from a production system running 9+ agents across business, finance, wellness, product, and creative domains.

What is included: SOUL.md template (identity, values, working style), IDENTITY.md template (role and authority scope), AUTHORITY.md template (what the agent can and cannot do without approval), a COORDINATION.md protocol for inter-agent messaging, and a MEMORY.md structure with session log format.

These templates are opinionated by design. The structure is built to prevent common failure modes: authority creep, context bloat, and coordination loops.

Use them as-is for a consistent starting point, or as a base to adapt.

Best for anyone setting up a multi-agent system for the first time, or restructuring an existing system that has grown inconsistent.
