Spec-to-Tests Generator
SkillSkill
Turn any spec, user story, or acceptance criteria into a full test suite scaffold.
About
Takes a product spec, user story, feature description, or acceptance criteria and generates a complete test suite scaffold before you write a line of implementation code.
What gets generated
- Unit test scaffold: describe blocks, happy paths, edge cases, named TODOs
- Integration test stubs: API endpoints, database interactions, auth boundaries
- QA checklist: manual test cases for flows hard to automate
Framework-aware output
Jest, Vitest, Playwright, pytest, Go testing, RSpec — specify yours or it detects from your repo. All tests skipped by default so the file imports immediately without failures.
How to use it
Provide a written spec, GitHub issue, user story, acceptance criteria list, or Jira ticket. The skill reads it, infers what needs testing, and asks one question if something is ambiguous.
Why this matters
Test generation is the #1 most-skipped step under deadline pressure. Writing tests from a spec before implementation catches requirement gaps early and locks in the definition of done.

Building AI agents that actually run in production
Every skill I ship has been battle-tested inside a real autonomous agent stack — not prototyped, not demo-ware. I focus on the gaps nobody else fills: security boundaries, revenue tracking, content automation, and the boring infrastructure that makes agents reliable. If it's on here, it works.
