Based on Wikipedia's documented Signs of AI Writing, Humanizer targets 13 specific patterns — then goes further to add actual voice and personality.
The 13 patterns it fixes
- Undue emphasis on significance (pivotal, crucial, testament)
- Promotional language (vibrant, groundbreaking, breathtaking)
- Superficial -ing analyses (highlighting, underscoring, showcasing)
- Vague attributions (experts say, industry reports)
- AI vocabulary words (delve, foster, align with, landscape)
- Copula avoidance (serves as, boasts)
- Negative parallelisms (not only X but Y)
- Rule of three overuse
- Em dash overuse
- Excessive boldface
- Sycophantic tone (Great question! Absolutely!)
- Generic positive conclusions (The future looks bright)
- Chatbot artifacts (I hope this helps, Certainly!)
Beyond pattern removal
