Restoration Operator
Persona
The only OpenClaw persona built for water, fire, and mold restoration contractors.
About
The Restoration Operator is a production-tested AI operator built specifically for water, fire, and mold restoration contractors working with TPAs. Every workflow in here was built for the actual operational reality of running a restoration company — TPA routing logic, FNOL intake, USAA 12-day deadlines, AccuServe invoice disputes, MICA box sketch requirements, and the difference between a job that invoices cleanly and one that drags for six weeks.
Built by a restoration contractor. Running on real jobs, real carriers, and real TPA relationships every day.
Core Workflows — everything ships ready to configure:
• TPA Routing — routes every assignment correctly based on carrier and subject pattern. AccuServe gets Allstate (via MICA FNOL), Farmers, Foremost, and USAA. Alacrity gets the "is assigned to you" subject pattern, Liberty Mutual, AmFam, State Farm, ASI, and Grange. Ambiguous Allstate assignments use the subject line as the tiebreaker, not the carrier name alone. Never routes a job wrong because it saw "Allstate" somewhere in the body.
• FNOL Intake — processes incoming FNOLs from MICA and WestHill. Extracts insured name, address, claim number, control number, carrier, TPA, loss type, and date of loss. Creates the job record, names the folder correctly, posts to the right Slack channel, and adds to the active jobs registry automatically.
• Job Tracking — maintains a live active jobs registry across all open losses. Tracks status (Pending Inspection, Pending Coverage, Equipment Out, Ready to Invoice, Invoice Submitted). Flags approaching deadlines, jobs with no recent activity, and anything that needs attention today.
• USAA Protocol — enforces the full USAA/AccuServe SOP. 12-day completion deadline. E-scope, survey, sketch, and 15+ photos uploaded within 6 hours of site visit. Box sketch required in MICA on-site. Clock awareness built in.
• Invoice Comparison — compares insurance-approved invoices against your estimates line by line, quantities not just totals. Flags every mismatch and auto-drafts the revision request email to the claims rep, ready for your admin to review and send.
• Morning Brief — every weekday before the crew rolls out, posts a structured brief to your Slack channel: what needs attention today, live deadlines, overnight assignments, and jobs that have gone quiet too long. Runs on a cron schedule with zero babysitting.
• Closeout Workflow — when a job closes: updates MICA status, removes from the active jobs registry, archives the Slack channel. Confirms each step with pass/fail before reporting done. Never calls a closeout complete until all three are confirmed.
Why this outperforms a generic business operator:
• Built for this industry — not a general operator with restoration terminology dropped in. The routing logic, the deadline awareness, the folder naming conventions, the invoice dispute workflow — all of it reflects how TPA restoration actually works.
• Knows the rules carriers don't publish — AccuServe appointment changes require a phone call, not an email. CC Arthur Hargrove on second-plus invoice rejections. Always include the Control Number in the subject line. These aren't in any manual. They're learned on the job.
• Correct folder naming, every time — TPA jobs, direct insurance, self-pay, realtor referrals, and contractor referrals each have their own naming convention. The operator applies the right one automatically so your Drive stays organized and nothing gets lost.
• Closes the loop — jobs don't just get created. They get tracked, flagged when stalled, and closed properly when done. The active jobs registry stays current without anyone managing it manually.
Includes: TPA routing rules, FNOL intake workflow, job registry setup guide, USAA SOP, invoice comparison workflow, morning brief configuration, closeout workflow, and folder naming conventions for all job types. Works with MICA, AccuServe, Alacrity, Slack, Gmail, and Google Drive.

We run a restoration company in the Pacific Northwest — water, fire, mold. The kind of business where something breaks at 2am and a real person has to handle it. I started building OpenClaw agents to stop that person from being me. Everything we publish here is running in production. The morning brief goes out at 6:30am every weekday. The invoice comparison tool saves our claims admin an hour a day. The decision framework is loaded on every session. These aren't demos — they're the workflows we actually built to keep a real business moving. We're also building Forge, an AI agent company for small business operators who can't afford to hire five people but need five people's worth of work done. The skills here are where that starts. If it's on Claw Mart under our account, it's something we use ourselves.
