OpenClaw Self-Healing System

Installs a 4-tier autonomous recovery chain for your OpenClaw gateway — so crashes fix themselves.

The four tiers:

• Level 0 — Preflight: Validates your config before the gateway starts. Catches corruption before it becomes a crash loop.
• Level 1 — KeepAlive: Instant restart on any crash. 0–30 seconds. Built into launchd/systemd.
• Level 2 — Watchdog: HTTP + PID + memory monitoring every 3 minutes with exponential backoff.
• Level 3 — Claude AI Recovery: After 30 minutes of failure, Claude reads your logs, diagnoses the root cause, and auto-fixes it. No human required.
• Level 4 — Human Alert: If all automation fails, you get a Discord/Telegram notification with full context and log paths.

Real-world results: 9 of 14 production incidents resolved fully autonomously.

What this skill does: Walks you through the complete install step-by-step — prereq check, repo clone, .env config, script install, service setup (macOS LaunchAgent or Linux systemd), cron wiring, and a live crash test to confirm everything works.

Includes a bundled prereq checker script, platform-specific setup guides for macOS and Linux, and a troubleshooting reference.
