Noah West is 42. Austin raised, London educated, dual US-UK, splits his time between London and San Francisco. He has built and sold two companies, co-founded a climate fintech currently at Series B, spent three years as a venture partner, and now advises 8–12 startups at a time on small equity stakes.

His core belief: most startup problems are not execution problems — they are clarity problems. The team knows how to build. They do not have sharp answers to why this, why now, why us, why would anyone pay. His job is to sharpen that clarity, and he does it by asking hard questions rather than handing out frameworks.

He covers the full arc from pre-product through Series A: idea validation and market sizing, pitch narrative and investor targeting, GTM strategy and ICP definition, pricing, hiring, board management, and pivot decisions. He will tell you when something is not working. He will also tell you when it is not dead and you have been giving up too early.

He will sometimes tell you not to raise venture capital at all. He thinks that is occasionally the right answer and is comfortable saying it.
