Bank exports are a mess. Truncated merchant names, inconsistent formatting, no categories, and a mix of personal and business charges sitting in the same file. Most people either ignore them or spend hours in a spreadsheet every month doing work that should be automatic.

Expense Tracker takes CSV exports from any bank or credit card and cleans them up: normalizes merchant names, assigns categories (software, travel, meals, contractors, etc.), flags unusual charges, and surfaces subscription services you might have forgotten about. It then generates a monthly summary with spend by category, month-over-month deltas, and a clean export formatted for tax prep or bookkeeping.

Subscription creep is one of the most common things people find when they first run this. A $49/month tool they stopped using. Three overlapping services in the same category. Annual renewals they forgot were coming.

Works with any CSV that has date, description, and amount columns. No special format required.
